When and where does IWCN 2027 take place?

April 19–22, 2027 at the Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu, Taiwan, with the International Wigner Workshop (IWW 2027) on April 19. See the Venue page for directions.

Can I attend remotely?

IWCN 2027 is a hybrid conference: on-site attendance plus live streaming. A post-workshop VOD service is also planned.

How do I submit an abstract?

Submissions are 2-page PDF abstracts (including figures and tables) in IEEE conference format, due December 22, 2026, 23:59 Taipei time (UTC+8). Abstracts are submitted through the online submission system; email submissions are not accepted. Authors of accepted abstracts will submit a 4-page final paper in IEEE conference format by March 22, 2027. Will the papers be published?

Yes. Papers presented at IWCN 2027 will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. IEEE Xplore conference proceedings are indexed in Ei Compendex and Scopus. Each accepted paper must be covered by a full registration (regular or student) of a presenting author by March 22, 2027, and one registration covers one paper only. Each paper must be presented at the workshop, on site or live remotely, by one of the authors. Papers that are not presented may be excluded from distribution after the conference, including IEEE Xplore. See the Submission page for details.

How do I register?

Fees and the cancellation policy are on the Registration page. Online registration will open there. Early registration closes February 26, 2027.

How is the registration fee charged?

All fees are in New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and are paid by a one-time credit card payment through NewebPay (藍新金流); USD amounts are for reference only. A Taiwan e-invoice (電子發票) is issued for every payment, and a company tax ID (統一編號) can be entered at checkout. An English receipt is provided for reimbursement. When will I receive confirmation?

Nothing is shipped: registration is a conference service. A confirmation and receipt are emailed within 3 working days after payment. The service itself is the conference on April 19–22, 2027 at the Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu, or live streaming for streaming registrations.

Do I need a visa to enter Taiwan?

Many nationalities can enter Taiwan visa-free. See Visa & Invitation Letters for entry requirements and how to request an invitation letter.
